Question and Answers

I have a Whirlpool Quiet Partner III And it stops in mid cycle with Clean Light blinking 7 times. I have replaced the Heating filament and have reset the code

Thak youfor your question. The blinking clean light typically indicates a heating fault. The control board is programmed to stop the current cycle and not allow any further cycles if it suspects a faulty heating element (no increase in water temperature during the water heat intervals). The control will cause the "Clean" light to blink 7 times in a repetitive fashion and disable the Start/Resume key until cleared.

To clear the blinking clean light you will need to run the diagnostics. I am including information on this issue in the images below. if the dishwasher still senses an issue with the heat circuit, the clean light will start flashing again on the next regular cycle. The diagnosis of this issue will require the use of an ohm/volt meter and you will have to perform ohm checks and/or live voltage checks. If you have an ohm/volt meter and are confident in your technical abilities, please reply below and I will be happy to assist you further.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website:
