I have a Whirlpool Range M#GR478LXPS0, S#RS0617369 where the oven won't turn off. Any suggestions? Could it be a control board issue?

Thank you for submitting your question, I am sorry to hear that you are having problems with your oven.

On something like this it sounds like a relay is stuck on the control board. Unplug the unit from the wall or disconnect power for 30-40 seconds. If the oven still heats after restoring power, the control board will need to be replaced. If not, the touchpad may need replaced. The part for a new control broad is #9762733. You can go toSears Parts enter the model and it will be #12 on the diagram. I have attached a image below. If you need more help, please reply with additional details.
