Question and Answers

Oven not heating.what could be the cause? FGGF3041KFB Frigidaire Gas range

Thank you for contacting Sears. I will be more than happy to assist you with your Range.

I can understand the frustration of your range not functioning properly, after researching model number fggf3041kfb. Try unplugging the range and checking the resistance of the oven temperature sensor probe. Unplug the wiring connection on the probe and measure the resistance of this component with a volt/ohm meter. You should measure about 1080 ohms at room temperature. A high resistance through this sensor probe will prevent the oven from heating properly. If you suspect that it is bad, I recommend replacing it. This should fix your oven heating problem. There is a chance that the oven control board could be bad. If you replace the temperature sensor probe and still have problems, then you may need to replace the control board.

I hope you found this information useful. Again thank you for choosing Sears. We appreciate your business, have a great day.
