slow oven lighting problem.. Gas oven FGFB86DCE Frigidaire Gas range

Thank you for choosing and being a valued member.  I can certainly understand how frustrating it can be when your oven is not working properly.

I recommend checking the rtd sensor in your oven to make sure it is reading the temperatures correctly.

BAKE IGNITOR:  108 / 232 voltage   100 Ω

Remove power from oven. Make resistance measurement from side of sensor & lock switch connector with exposed terminals.

*If abnormal reading is observed, remove sensor mounting screws and pull sensor about 10” into
oven to expose sensor disconnect.
Measure resistance directly across sensor at disconnect (approx. 1100 Ohms at room temperature).

Oven Sensor terminals 5-7 *1100?@Rm Temp. 2643?@870°F

Door unlatched: 1-3 0Ω
Door Latched: 2-3 0Ω

Depress each pad on the Key Panel followed by the CLEAR/OFF pad. If the
Key Panel is functioning properly the following should occur:
• Bake, Broil, Clean, Timer, Clock, and Cook Time Modes —audible tone plus display showing mode of operation selected.
• Clear/Off— audible tone and display shows time of day.
• Temp, Hour, Min Pad- no audible tone. Can only be used after another
function has been selected.
If some of the pads work and some don’t, the problem is probably the key panel. To verify that the Key Panel is the problem, perform the Ohm Test.
If the Ohmmeter reads infinity ? when depressing the pad or shows some
resistance without depressing the pad the key panel is bad.
Set Ohmmeter on high scale. Connect leads to ribbon cable as indicated in chart for each function. Depress function pad. Meter should read less than infinity ? if the switch contact is working.
