Question and Answers

Q:

Frigidaire Range model FEF365BGDC

A:

I don't have specific directions for assembling that oven door. You may be able to use the parts list diagram shown in the image below to help you reassemble it properly. That is the only information that I have on that door assembly. If you are not able to get the door back together, I recommend that you have a service technician reassemble it. Q:

Frigidaire Range Model FEF365BGDC

A:

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

Based on your symptom and details it sounds like you lost one leg of voltage to the range. The surface elements and oven elements require 220 volts in order to heat. The clock/oven control needs only 110 volts in order to power up. I recommend locating the two (2) house circuit breakers/fuses and see if one of the breakers has tripped. Reset both circuit breakers by flipping them off and on 2-3 times and then see if the oven and surface elements will heat. If it does not heat after resetting the breakers, the voltage supply should be checked and confirmed before any further checks are made. If 220 volts is present at the terminal block where the power supply connects to range, then it could have loose or burnt wire connection at the terminal block. NOTE: I do not recommend checking and confirming the voltage supply unless you have experience and feel safe and confident in doing so; otherwise I recommend calling a service technician to diagnose and repair your range.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .
