Error code 61 FAQE7072LW0 Frigidaire Dryer

Thank you for choosing Sears, I will be more than happy to assist you with your Frigidaire dryer.

The code E61 is a problem with the voltage. Most of the time it means that you have the neutral and the l2 wire reversed or in the wrong position. It seems to me like the power code was connected incorrectly when it was installed.

I hope you found this information helpful. Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct. We appreciate your business. Have a nice day.

Thank you for submitting a question to Manage My Life.

I know how frustrating it can be when appliances do not function properly.

You should be able to carefully remove the catch with a small screw driver and pliers. If you pry the face of the catch from the side enough to grab it with the pliers it will pull out. Otherwise, you would have to disassemble the front panel. If you need the instructions for removing the front panel, reply to this post and I will be happy to provide them.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .
