Q:

kenmore ultrasoft 150 water softner,

A:

Carol,

The water softener should have about two inches of water in the bottom of the salt tank. If there is more than that in the salt tank, I recommend cleaning the nozzle venturi first. I posted an image below that shows how to clean the nozzle venturi. Then remove the cover of the brine well on the right side of the salt tank. You need to be sure the float assembly is pushed down to the bottom of the brine well. If it is not, the water will be higher than normal. After it is clean, it could take a few cycles for the water level to get back to normal.

I hope this is helpful. Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Q:

Gas grill only heats up to 150 degrees. Why? 122.16431010

A:

Check the tank to make sure that it is full. A nearly empty tank will sometimes cause this problem.

Check the gas connections for leaks as shown on page 16 of your owner's manual. Here is a link for the owner's manual in case you need it: Owner's Manual . Check the alignment of the burner tubes over the orifices. Check the orifices to make sure that none are clogged. Make sure that none of the burner tube holes are clogged. Page 18 of your manual shows how to access and clean the burner tubes.

If these tips don't help then you could have a bad regulator on the gas supply line.

A gap in the back of the lid that you describe should not prevent the gas side of the grill from heating up properly.

If you need more help, submit more details and we will try to assist you further.

Q:

Thermistor 134216500 for Kenmore Dryer 41794252500

A:

I have only one resistance check available for the thermistor in that dryer. At 77 degrees F, it should measure 50K ohms +/- 10% (50,000 ohms). This information should help you check that component. If you need more help, let me know.
