Q:

Hassle-Free III Head compatability

A:

Thank you for your question. I will be happy to assist you. Just above the adapter, you should see a black plastic part. In that part you will see a hole you an insert a screwdriver. Insert the screwdriver to keep the shaft from turning. Then with a gloved hand grip the cutter assembly and turn it counter clockwise. It might be tough to get loose but it should turn. Then spin the head off the shaft. To install the hassle free just follow the instructions that come with it. I believe it will fit but we do not have a chart show all the models it is made for.  I hope this is helpful. Please let me know if you need further assistance.       Thank you for using Manage my life. Mark T.

Q:

wrinkle guard iii kenmore dryer

A:

The cycle descriptions for this dryer are shown in the images below. The wrinkle guard will cause the dryer to run for 10 - 15 seconds every 5 minutes for 2.5 hours after the auto cycle finishes in the dryer. The end of cycle signal will sound when the cycle is finished.

The control will normally shut off the heat at the end of the cycle for a cool down period. This does not always mean that the clothes will be at room temperature after this cool down period. The ambient temperature of the air being drawn into the dryer and the efficiency of the exhaust air flow will affect the cool down. A restricted exhaust air flow system could be causing the clothes to be warmer than normal. Make sure that your exhaust vent duct system if clear. Here are some tips:

  • Clean the lint screen before starting each cycle.

  • Wash the lint screen with water and a soft bristled brush to remove softener residue that can restrict air flow. Allow the lint screen to dry completely before placing it back into the housing. Repeat this procedure periodically to keep the lint screen clean.

  • Check the flexible vent hose behind the dryer for kinks or clogs.

  • Check the exhaust duct to the outside of your home for clogs or restrictions.

  • Make sure that the damper on the exit vent at the outside of your home is opening properly.

I hope that this information helps. If you need more assistance, reply with additional details and we will help you further.

Q:

Leaking Kenmore Ultra Wash III

A:

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

As Barbara suggested in the first response; adding the model number would be most helpful in identifying model dishwasher you have. Based on your symptom it sounds like you may a power clean module type wash motor and pump. If the pump cover (key#14)in the image I added below looks like the pump cover in your Kenmore model dishwasher; the screws (key#3) can back off over time and cause water to escape past the cover and cause a wave action and splash over the front edge of the tub and then leak below the door. If you have this type of pump; check and tighten all the screws and see if that doesn't stop the leak.

This may be the issue. If not, please reply with the complete model number of your dishwasher and I will be glad to assist you further. You can find the model number on the inner edge of the tub opening after opening the door.
