You could have a problem with the burner switch or the element itself. Without the model number for your range, it is difficult to offer more specific troubleshooting help. I recommend that you reply with the full model number of your range if you want to fix this problem yourself. The model number on many of the Kenmore electric ranges is on the base in front of the right or left front leveling leg (see image below).

Q:

how do i install snowblower on my tractor snowblower model #842-24074

A:

Thank you for your question.

I can understand your concern with not being able to get the lift to work.

According to my attachment fits up chart the 917.255914 did not have a snow blade or snow thrower in the attachment list. There were a few models that did not get all the attachments because there design.

Many of the tractors take the same snow-thrower and all I can suggest is to do some inventing to get that part to work on your tractor. The 842.24074 snow-thrower was built by Haban Manufacturing and they stopped supplying snow-throwers in 1998.

I am sorry that I did not have a better answer for you.

Q:

My H E 3 is locked.

A:

Hello,

Thank you for submitting a question to Manage My Life.

I know how frustrating it can be when appliances do not function properly.

You can manually unlock the door by;

  1. Unplug washer or disconnect power.
  2. Remove the lower kick panel.
  3. Reach up along the inside of the front and locate the bottom of the door switch/lock unit.
  4. Located under the bottom of the door switch/lock unit is a round shaped tab.
  5. Gently pull the tab down about a 1/4" or until a click is heard.
  6. The door should unlock.

I am including an image below that demonstrates this procedure.

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .
