Question and Answers

How do you remove the drawer from a Fisher & Paykel dishwasher?

The instructions to remove the drawer are in the image below. Remember to turn the power off first before removing the drawer.

I recommend removing the top drawer first. It is easier to see the clip you will need to push in on to release the tub from the rails.

The drawer slides in and out on rails and in removing the drawer you actually release the tub from the rails. The rails that slide back and forth stay in the dishwasher. You're going to push in on a clip, and then push back on it to release the tub from the rail. In the picture the tub is off the rail and the clip when still mounted to the tub will be located below the round pin shown in the picture.

With both clips in front released the tub will lift up off the rails. When you lift up on the tub you will rotate it and move it out of the way. You do not have to remove the hoses but which ever way you turn the tub when you reinstall it you turn it back the opposite direction. The idea is not to twist the hose.

I hope this information is helpful resolving your problem but if you have any additional questions then submit another question with additional details for further assistance.
