Q:

Does the electric range sensors wb21x5301 and wb20k10015 both have 1100 ohms?

A:

The temperature sensor part number WB20K10015 that is listed for model number EGR3001EJ4SS is an 1100 Ohm sensor.

The temperature sensor part number WB21X5301 that is listed for model number JGBP24BEW1AD is also an 1100 Ohm sensor.

Note: The Ohm value listed is at room temperature (75.0 degrees Fahrenheit), the higher the temperature the lower the resistance and vise versa.

I looked at pictures of both of these sensors, they do indeed appear identical. I cannot advise you that they will function in the same manner. I am only allowed to suggest you use the sensor that is listed for your specific model number.

I assume you are working on a GE electric range. You did not supply me with a model number, but both parts are for a GE.

If you need more assistance please resubmit question with a complete model number and more details. I will be looking forward to helping you again in the near future.

Q:

how to lower rear suspension on 1993 gsxr 1100

A:

Thank you for your question.

  • I do not know of any way to safely lower the suspension without purchasing a lowering kit. You would have to have the bike supported on a lift and tie down system and then unbolt the links and lower the lift to see how it looks.

  • The dog bone style kit is about a $100. There are some after market manufactures that have styles that you can adjust.

  • From my experience with my gsf600 bandit lowering kit,it really doesn't change the look much.

  • What is does change is your clearance. Being a lone rider I will occasionally bottom out on the center stand if I am leaning and hit a dip or a bump in a turn. It also reduces your lean clearance, but in my case since I am not a knee dragger its not a problem. What I like about it is I can sit or stand flat footed.
