Q:

"O" TURN

A:

Hi Mike. I am not sure if the engine quits or the PTO clutches stops working. If the clutch kicks off after a while, I recommend checking the 12-volt supply to the clutch. If you have 12 volts, the clutch is the problem. If you do not have 12 volts, I recommend checking at the pto switch. You should have 12 volts on the red/blue wire. If you do the PTO switch is defective. Due to safety reasons, I cannot tell you how to jump the switch or recommend doing it. If the engine stalls, I recommend checking the connections on the lever switches and the seat switch first.

I hope this is helpful. Please let me know if you need further assistance. Reply below for faster response.

Q:

How do you remove the old mandrel o install a new one?

A:

First I recommend spraying the shaft with some rust penetration fluid or WD-40 before attempting to remove the shaft. Remove the nut and pulley and press the shaft out using a press or you may be able to carefully drive it down and out of the mandrel housing using a hammer. Be careful not mushroom the top of the shaft or you may not be able to get it out of the housing. I recommend taking the mandrel and the new shaft to a Sears Service Center and have them do it.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired by a Sears technician. Here is a link that will provide the nearest drop-off locations: Sears Home Services .

Q:

lcd says OF OF how o reset?

A:

Your details indicate that you may have a refrigerator in the demo mode. Without more information, I am just offering an educated guess. If this describes your situation, then you may be able to exit that demo mode by pressing Energy Saver and Adjust Freezer buttons down for 3 deliberate seconds. You should hear a beep and the control should return to normal. The refrigerator should start cooling again.

If you have a different type of problem, reply with additional details and the full model number of your appliance.

If you get to the point where you need to have a service technician diagnose and repair this failure, you can schedule service through this link: Sears Home Services .
