Model #917377593 Craftsman walk behind lawnmower, gas

Question and Answers

Q:

how to replace belt on 917377593

A:

I understand your concern. I must assume you are having an issue with removing the blade adapter. You may have to spray above the blade adapter with some rust penetration fluid in order for it become free. There is likely rust between the motor shaft and the blade adapter preventing it from pulling off from the shaft. Spray it with some type of Rust Buster/Rust penetration fluid and let it sit and soak for a couple of hours. After letting it soak, tap on it gently with a hammer and then you should be able to pull it off.
