Q:

All parts needed to change mower from mulch to bagger 917374362 Craftsman Mower

A:

Thank you for your question.

I will be happy to assist you with this. I looked up the model number you submitted. The only parts you will need is the bag and frame. The mower already has the mounts for the frame to attach. It hooks into the rear door hinge. The parts for the mower can be ordered from the following link. Craftsman walk behind mower model 917374362 replacement parts.

I hope this is helpful. Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Q:

trouble starting lawn mower

A:

Thank you for your question.

I am sorry you are having a problem with the mower. I recommend checking the fuel in the tank. If the fuel in the tank is older than five weeks old, it should be drained and refilled with fresh fuel. If the fuel is fine, I suspect the problem is in the carburetor. If the main jet is partly plugged the engine will not get enough fuel to start. Once you pour some fuel in the carburetor, it will start. I recommend cleaning the carburetor first. I have found a video that shows how to clean the carburetor. Click here to watch the video. After the carburetor is cleaned, reassemble the engine and check the operation.

I hope this helpful. Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Q:

Why doesn't the drive control adjustment on my self propelled mower work?

A:

I recommend you contact the manager of the lawn and garden department at the retail store. Explain to him or her how you feel and ask what options you have.

If you have to take the mower in for repair again, ask the person that take the mower to have a lead tech do the repairs because it sounds like someone is missing something.

Part of the customers maintenance on self propelled mowers is to remove the drive wheels and clean the pinon gear and the teeth inside the wheel. If you have not done this, you need to.

Since the mower is in warranty, you should get Sears to repair it if you can't get a new one. I think the manager will give you a gift card to ease the pain of doing without your mower while we repair it.
