Model #917370660 Craftsman walk behind lawnmower, gas

Question and Answers

Q:

lawn mower battery doesn't charge

A:

Thank you for your question on the battery going dead and no starting the engine.

The battery should be charge regularly with the initial charge of 48 hrs.

If the battery charger shows it is producing at 13 to 14 DC volts that you are correct in that the charger is working.

Please check to make sure all the electrical connections are solid and clean of any corrosion.

I have seen where that can be a problem.

Then check the battery to see if it has at least 12.7 to 13.2 DC volts. If it is lower than 11.5 volts then the battery has been sulfated and will need to be replaced.
