Q:

My tractor spits a gas and oil mixture out of the carb. What does that mean?

A:

The float in the carburetor is not sealing the fuel from the tank off. The carburetor overfills and the fuel goes into the crankcase. Drain the oil and refill the engine with new oil. Damage will be done to the engine if you run it with the thin oil in the crankcase.

To correct the problem with the float you should replace the carburetor and the fuel line. The fuel line is usually deteriorating and the flecks of rubber keep the needle on the float from sealing off the gasoline.
