Thank you for your question.

I am sorry you are having a problem with the tractor. Usually when oil comes out the breather it is because the crankcase is over full. I recommend checking the oil level before ordering any parts. If the crankcase is over full I recommend smelling the oil if it smells like gas and is watery the problem is the carburetor. The carburetor is not controlling the fuel level in the float bowl causing the gas to run into the cylinder and fill the crankcase. To correct this you will need to remove the float bowl and float. Then remove the fuel line and back flush carb cleaner into the hole where the needle goes. Then reassemble the carburetor. Before connecting the fuel line, inspect it. If it is cracked and looks like it is breaking, I recommend replacing the fuel line also. Then drain the oil and let is sit with the drain plug and dip stick out for a day. This should give it enough time to evaporate the gas in the crankcase. The next day install the plug, fill with SAE30 motor oil, and check the operation.

If oil is still coming from the breather the problem could be a defective breather or blown head gasket.

Please let me know if you need further assistance on the repair of the tractor.
