Question and Answers

just replaced the baking element in my range and it still does not work everything else is working properly, please suggest what else I may need to do.

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

If the bake circuit wiring is okay and there is no loose or burnt wire connections, the electronic oven control/clock assembly is most likely faulty. The control must close the bake relay in order to complete the line one (L1) voltage supply to one lead of the bake element. The line two (L2) is connected directly to the other bake element lead which connects directly to the terminal block where the power cord is attached. The bake element must have a 220 volt power supply or it will not heat. I recommend checking for a burnt wire (black wire) at the terminal block. If the there are no burnt wires, the clock/oven control is most likely faulty.
