Question and Answers

no heat from burners or oven - power is OK

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern. Based on your symptom and details, the range is either not getting the correct voltage supply (220 volts) required. The voltage supply should be checked and confirmed at the terminal block where the voltage supply is connected to the range. NOTE: I do not recommend checking voltage unless you have experience and feel safe and confident in doing so, otherwise I recommend calling a service technician to diagnose and repair your range.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .

If the voltage supply is correct, then it would likely have a burnt Line One (L1) or Line Two (L2) wire connection. The bake, broil and surface elements must have 220 volts supplied to them or they will not heat.

Disconnect the power supply from the range before checking for burnt wire connections.
