Question and Answers

Q:

Oven model 9113022192

A:

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

Your Kenmore wall oven has only one burner and one igniter. When broiling you will need to open the broiler drawer and place the food under the bake burner.

Based on your symptom and details the oven igniter is weak and needs to be replaced. If the glow bar igniter is weak and does not draw enough current; the oven gas valve will not open.

The part # of the oven igniter is #WB2X9154 which can be ordered from SearsPartsDirect . NOTE: Disconnect the wall oven from the power supply before removing and replacing the oven igniter.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .

Q:

how to check out a control board on a wall oven #9113022192

A:

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

On the electronic oven control it will have several terminals labeled. When the oven control is programed to bake or broil, 120 volts should be measured across terminal (BA) and terminal (N) which is the neutral.

If 120 volts is measured and the glow bar igniter is not glowing, it could have faulty igniter or an open circuit in the oven gas valve. I added an image below with a wiring diagram so that you can see the circuit.

NOTE: I do not recommend measuring voltages unless you have experience and feel safe and confident in doing so; otherwise I recommend calling a service technician to diagnose and repair your wall oven.

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.

Q:

What does "F3" error code indicate on my Kenmore oven?

A:

The "F3" fault code is indicating an open oven temperature sensor probe or an open oven temperature sensor circuit. (See image below for additional information)

The oven sensor probe will need to be removed from inside the oven cavity and tested with an ohm meter. The oven sensor should have a resistance of 1100 ohms at room temperature. If the oven temperature sensor probe measures approximately 1100 ohms at room temperature the oven sensor is OK and the sensor circuit connections will need to checked at the oven control board. NOTE: Disconnect power to the wall oven before removing the control panel and checking the sensor circuit connections.

The part number of the oven sensor is WB21X5301 and can ordered at Sears Parts Direct. I added the link below with the oven temperature sensor looked up for you.
