Question and Answers

Q:

blower motor gmp100-3 rev b

A:

Hello Walter. I looked up that part on the factory website. It shows that you model needs motor B1340021S. That appears to be a different motor from the B1340021 that is listed on our Sears PartsDirect website. That will likely fix your wiring problem. I apologize for the problem with that motor.

You asked for the error codes and the wiring diagram. I posted those images below.  If you are viewing this answer on the Sears PartsDirect website then you may need to visit this page on the Manage My Life website to view the images: blower motor gmp100-3 rev b

Q:

kenmore stackable washer/dryer won't finish the spin cycle or drain. i've tried unplugging it, restarting it, switching cycles, etc.

A:

The lid switch is likely the cause of your washer stopping in the drain and spin cycle. If the lid is not closed or if the lid switch has failed the washer will not operate in the drain and spin cycles. If you listen carefully as you raise and lower the lid you should hear a faint audible click each time the lid is lifted open 3 inches or so and when closed. If you do not hear the faint click then the lid switch is likely broken. NOTE: Disconnect the power cord from the power source before servicing the washer. I added the instructions in the image below on how to remove the top in order to remove and replace the lid switch.

Q:

Kenmore Elite Dishwasher will not operate. Power to snap-in 120V module. Replaced control board, P/N 852874 Rev B. Still no operation. What is problem?

A:

I did not find information on a Kenmore Elite dishwasher with model number 16679200 (or 665.16679200). I recommend that you recheck that model number. I can normally cross reference the part number (852874) back to models that use it. I was not able to cross reference the part number 852874 back to Kenmore Elite dishwasher models in our parts system. You may need to recheck that part number as well.

Since you indicate that you have power to the control board, you may have a problem with the replacement control board. A stuck float switch or a bad door switch assembly could also prevent the dishwasher from starting. Be sure that you shut off the circuit breaker to the dishwasher before accessing internal components. Checking these components may help you determine the cause of your problem.

If you find no problems with those components, I recommend that you recheck the model number and the part number then reply with this revised information. We will be glad to assist you further once we receive more information.
