Q:

Why won’t my Mitsubishi HDTV come on?

A:

I am unfamiliar with your model. The Mitsubishi models usually start with two letters followed by the screen size in inches and a few more numbers to show the series (i.e. WD-52525, LT-52246). You mentioned that someone suggested the "lamp would lead me to believe you have a "WD" model, the micro display projection sets. I recommend unplugging the set, waiting a while then plugging it back in. If there was a glitch that locked up your set, this could wash it out. It is difficult to give you an idea of what could cause a noise like this without knowing the set. A small component vibrating at a frequency can cause a squeal, as well a color wheel that is vibrating (this would be more common) in a DLP set. A technician can get an error code from your set to give him an idea of where to start looking. I wouldn't want to suggest service if all you need is a lamp but it is not sounding like it with what you've already said. I would go with a repairman because of the high pitch noise.

Q:

Why won’t my dishwasher run?

A:

It sounds like the touch pad or the L1 side door switch may be bad.

I have included a set of illustrated instructions, (See below) these should step you through the process of checking the door switch and the touch pad. If you have a volt/ohm meter and are comfortable working around live electricity I can give you a few checks that will help you diagnose the problem.

Start by checking the incoming voltage to the CCU (Central Control Unit).

  • With the door switches made (closed) check VAC (Voltage Alternating Current) at P7 (white wire) to P8 (tan wire) on CCU.
    • Should be 120.0VAC. If not the door switch is not making contact or is bad. If you have voltage continue.
  • Check the touchpad. Follow the illustrated instructions below.

If after these checks you need more assistance please resubmit question with more details. I will be looking forward to helping you again in the near future.

Note: Our imaging system is malfunctioning; I would like to apologize in advance if the attachments do not appear on line.

Q:

Why won’t my treadmill start?

A:

It sounds like a loose wire or an issue with your display.

My Pro form J8li treadmill display lights up, but when I push the button to increase the treadmill speed, the belt won't turn at all. If you will please resubmit question with a complete model number. I should be able to send you a wiring diagram along with instructions to make some of the checks.

I have included a generic owners manual, the troubleshooting starts on page 17. please click here Owners manual
