Question and Answers

Q:

How to route the belt around the drum for a Maytag DE 8500 dryer, and how to remove the top?

A:

I assume you have the front panel off. If you don't have the front panel off, it must be taken off before you can access the screws holding the top to the side panels. To remove the front panel, remove the two screws located at the bottom of the front panel. Tilt the bottom of the front panel outwards about 35 degrees and the front panel will disengage at the top and drop down and off.

I added the instructions in the image below how to route the belt.

Q:

I got a memory card stuck in my printer. How can I remove it?

A:

Make sure that the printer is unplugged when you try removing it. It will be hard to damage the memory card since it is solid and it has contacts on it that do not move. The thing to be careful about is damaging the printer's card reader slot. It seems that you installed the card in an incorrect slot you could have bent the pins inside the reader so it already might be no longer usable. I would try tweezers and rocking it back and forth while pulling back.

Keep in mind that you will likely void the printer's warranty. I do not think that you will further damage your printer but it is a possibility.

Q:

Won't start

A:

Thank you for your question.

I am sorry you are having a problem with the pressure washer. First, make sure the gas in the fuel tank is fresh and is not ethanol. If the fuel is fresh, it might need a high altitude kit. I recommend taking the presser washer to one of our drop off locations to have the pressure washer serviced. Here is a link that will provide the nearest drop-off locations: Sears Home Services .

Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Thank you for using Manage my life.
