No Refrigerator Light/Beep 79568279900 Kenmore Refrigerator

Thank you for choosing  I can certainly understand how frustrating it can be when your refrigerator is not working properly. I did look into the model number you have provided, and I have found information to assist you.

It sounds to me like the door switch has gone out causing the lights not to work and the buzzer not to sound.
The proper tests with a multi meter will need to be made in order to determine that is the issue.

A good check for your door switch will be to pry the switch out and connect the 2 wires together. Be sure to disconnect the power before removing the switch and connecting the wires. Now, reconnect the power and if the lights work when the wires are connected, it indicates the switch # 6600JB1010A has failed and will need to be replaced.
If the lights still don't work, it could indicate an issue with the socket or the electronic control. In this case, we would recommend having a technician assist with the electrical checks.
Remove door switch:
1.  To remove door switch, pry it out with a slotted type driver.
2. disconnect the lead wire.
If there is a clip on the lead wire then you will need to get a flat head screw driver to push down on the plastic piece to release the tab.
The harness connector will also be prye off the old switch.
