Model 790 Simmer Select 79099014100 Kenmore Elite Electric range

I'm getting an F7 Error code on my Kenmore Elite Range, what part is most likely defective? 790.99014100

Hello glad to help.  Thank You for choosing Sears
I am sorry and do understand your frustration when there is problems with the Range of Error Code F7.
Glad to help out.   Im  looking at your Kenmore Range model number 790.99014100.

F7  :  One or mor potentiometers not connected properly, or bad potentiometers..   UIB = USER INTERFACE BOARD.

1.  One or more potentiometers not connected to UIB.
2.  One or more bad potentiometers.
3.  Bad UIB or UIB connection to potentiometer.

1.  Reseat all potentiometer connections.
2.  With all connectors properly seated, turn all potentiometers to OFF position.
2A:  IF F7 persists:  replace potentiometers one at a time until F7 disappears.
2B:  If F7 disappears:  turn on potentiometers one at a time and replace any potentiometer that cuses F7 to re-appear.

3.  If potentiometers are okay, replace UIB.

Picture of the potentiometers.  They are key 54 and 54A.  The user intervace board is key number 97a
