Thank you for your question on installing the electronic oven control on your range.

The first thing to do is to REMOVE POWER TO THE RANGE.

SAFETY NOTICE: Be sure to disconnect power to the appliance before performing any repairs. If you are not comfortable with doing any voltage checks that might be recommended, please contact your local service provider for repairs. Be aware that there could be sharp edges inside the appliance that could cause cuts or other injuries to yourself or others.

Then pull the range from its location.

Then locate and remove the screws on the upper back panel on the range.

Then locate the four screws that secure the control the control panel on the range.

Do not remove the wires at this time.

Remove the four screws on the control.

Some of the controls come with a touch pad and on some you will need to open the lock on the ribbon touch pad strip and remove the touch pad to put on the new control. Then install the old touch pad onto the new control and carefully install the ribbon strip and lock the connector tab.

If the new control comes with the touch pad you can skip this step.

Install the new control into the control panel.

Then replace wire for wire from the old control to the new control one wire at a time.

You will be able to identify the terminals by the numbers and letters at each terminal location.

Once you have this done you can install the back cover and restore the power to the range and test operation.

I hope these instructions will help you with replacing the control on your range.

Please let me know how it went.

Sam A.
