Q:

Kenmore dual fuel range #79047152400: Please send step-by-step instructions to replace electronic board #316272209R. Thank you.

A:

I provided the procedure for access the control board for that type of range in the image below. Be sure that you shut off the house circuit breaker and the gas supply for the range before beginning this repair. The image below shows an electric range but the procedure for you dual fuel range is the same. Once you access the control board, you can transfer the wires to the new control. Remove the original control and mount the new one. Reassemble the range and test it.

If you need more assistance, reply with additional details.

If you do not feel confident replacing this control board yourself, then you can have it installed by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .

Q:

79047152400 big pop inside range and now not working eletrical part gas part fine ..why?

A:

That loud pop could have been a short or a failure in that clock control board that is in the console of the range. I recommend that you shut off the house circuit breakers for the range and access that control board as shown in the first image below. Check the brown and red wires on that control. The wiring diagram below shows those wires. Check the control board for a burned spot or apparent damage. If that control board is damaged, it will need to be replaced. You can order that part from the Sears PartsDirect website. The part number is 316272209R. Here is a direct link for that part: Clock Timer .

If you find no apparent problems with the wiring or the clock control board in that console, then you could have a short in one of the elements or the wiring. Reply with additional details if you need more help with this failure.

If you get to the point where you need to have a service technician examine and repair the range, you can schedule service through this link: Sears Home Services .

Q:

Dual fuel range no electricity

A:

Your symptoms suggest that you had a short in the relay for that warming burner or a failure on that clock control board in the console of the range. Based on the pop that you heard, I recommend that you shut off the house circuit breakers for the range to disconnect electrical power (they may still be off) and access that clock control board as shown in the third image below. You can check that control board in the console for a burned spot or burned wiring. The warming burner connects to that clock control board on the P11 plug. There is a diagram of that control board in the second image. You may see a burnt spot in that area. If that control board is damaged, it will need to be replaced. You can also check the element and the rest of that warming burner circuit. The first image has additional access information for this range.

You can order parts from the Sears PartsDirect website. Be sure that you shut off the house circuit breaker for the range to completely disconnect electrical power before accessing and replacing internal components.

If you need more help, reply with additional details.

This can sometimes be a difficult problem to diagnose and repair. If you get to the point where you need to have a service technician complete this repair, you can schedule service through this link: Sears Home Services .
