Question and Answers

Q:

I have a kenmore pro oven that not work

A:

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

The "F11" fault code implies a shorted key or a key was pushed and held down too long and it will terminate the oven activity.

The "d-o" indicates the door was left open and the control was set for a self-cleaning cycle. Just close the door to correct the problem. You may have to push in slightly on the door even though the door is shut. If the door does not shut fully it will not trip the door switch and "d-o" will display when the controls are set for self-cleaning.

I added a link to the Use and Care Guide if you don't have it.

Q:

Kenmore Elite Pro single wall oven beeps and errors out

A:

I recommend that you first try to reset the electronic control boards in the oven by shutting off the house circuit breakers for the unit to completely disconnect electrical power. Leave the power off for 5 minutes. Restore power and see if the control works properly. In some situations, that will resolve the problems that you are describing.

The ERR code is normally displayed when the function knob is changed without turning the dial to Off first as shown in the first image below. If you are seeing that ERR code randomly when the oven is heating without changing the mode, then the mode selector potentiometer switch (part 318601700) may need to be replaced. You may also have a problem with the electronic oven control board (part 316460200). There is a chance that a wire harness connection failure could be causing this problem. You can check the wiring connections using the wiring diagram in the second image below as a guide.

The resistance of that oven temperature sensor probe appears to be lower than normal. I posted a temperature/resistance chart for that temperature probe in the third image. I recommend that you shut off the house circuit breakers for the oven and check the resistance from the electronic control board in the console. I marked that connection on the wiring diagram in the second image (in violet or purple). The third image shows a drawing of the control board with that oven temperature sensor connection marked with the red arrow. You can check the resistance through the entire sensor circuit using that information.

These initial tips may help you resolve those oven problems on your own. You can order parts from this page: Kenmore Elite Pro Wall Oven Model 790.41003603 Parts . Be sure that you shut off the house circuit breakers for the oven to completely disconnect electrical power before accessing internal components and replacing parts.

You should be able to access the control board in the console by opening the oven door and removing the screws underneath the console. Lift the console and carefully fold it forward.

If you need more help, reply with additional details and we will assist you further.

Note: If you replace the electronic control board noted above, you will need to calibrate the potentiometer as shown in the 4th image.

If you get to the point where you need to have a service technician diagnose and repair this failure, you can schedule service through this link: Sears Home Services .
