Question and Answers

Q:

My oven had a f10 code and the oven started alarming the bell. What does this mean?

A:

A F10 fault code on your range indicates the oven has overheated. Someone needs to check the resistance of the oven sensor. The sensor resistance should be 1100 ohms at 70 degrees. If the resistance of the sensor reads 1000-1200 ohms the sensor is good and the electronic oven control (EOC) is defective.

If the resistance is good at the sensor and bad from the EOC there might be a bad connection in the wiring harness to the sensor.
