Q:

What are the two screws called on the top of the carb of a 720r Ryobi weed eater?

A:

I assume you are referring to the high and low speed mixture adjustment screws for the engine.

Begin by turning each screw clockwise and count the turns it takes to make them bottom out. Remove and clean the needles and clean the openings the screws screw into.

Put both screws into the carburetor and turn them in until they bottom out. Back both screws out 1 1/2 turns. The engine should start and run at this setting.

With the engine running turn each screw in until the engine runs rough. Back the screw out until the engine smooths out then runs rough again. Turn each screw in until the engine runs smoothly.

I hope this helps.

Q:

I hve Sears Snow Blower Mod 536.886440 that need impeller spring pin. Part 454565 is wrong as it is 1/4 inch when 1/8 inch is needed. How do I get right part?

A:

To get the correct spring pin for the impeller on your snow thrower look on the page that says "frame assembly" but is really the gearbox and impeller. The spring pins are item 341. The part number is STD572512 and the cost is $2.16 for a package of 2 pins.

The part number 454565 should cross over to STD572512. I think someone picked up the wrong package when your order was filled. If you order the STD572512 you should get the right pins.
