Q:

Manual Kenmore Elite. Also error code F 02?

A:

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

In order to look up and down load the Owner's manual you will need the model number of your HE4t washer. The model number should be located around the tub opening once you open the door. The model will start with the prefix (110) and more numbers following. Once you have the model number you can look up and view or download the Owner's manual at Manage My Life by entering the model number and then clicking on search.

The "F02" fault code will display if the drain time exceeds 8 minutes.

This fault code can be caused by a restricted drain pump filter or by using too much detergent or using the wrong kind of detergents causing excessive suds.

I recommend draining the washer and then disconnect the power cord. Remove the front lower access panel to gain access to the drain pump filter. I added an image below with instructions on how to access and remove the drain pump filter.

Q:

My front-end cloth washer accumulates water when off. How can I fix or replace the main feed selenoid valve?

A:

That leak is very likely caused by the inlet water valve assembly (part 8181694). Before replacing that valve assembly, I recommend that you unplug the washer and see if it continues to leak. Trace voltage can sometimes be applied to the water valve and that would cause it to leak. If the washer still leaks after unplugging it from the outlet, then the inlet water valve will need to be replaced.

You can order that part from this page: Inlet Water Valve Assembly Part 8181694 for Kenmore Elite Washer Model 110.45087401.

Unplug the washer and shut off the water supply before replacing that valve assembly. I posted a procedure below that should help you complete that repair.

If you need more help, reply with additional details and we will assist you further.

I know that you indicated that you want to fix this problem yourself. In the unlikely event that you reach the point where you need to have a service technician replace that water valve assembly, you can schedule service through this link: Sears Home Services Washer Repair.

Q:

Leaking LG dishwasher vent

A:

Sometimes the new floor can affect the installation of that dishwasher when it is moved back under the counter. Make sure that the dishwasher is still level. The procedure for checking that issue is shown in the second image below. Here is a link for the full installation guide in case you need it: Installation Instructions . Check the installation guide for any other potential problems that could have been caused by installing the new floor.

If the technician found that the cause of the leak was a cracked vent, I don't recommend that you replace the whole door panel. The image below shows how you can access the vent and replace just that part. I recommend that you use a revised vent part MJZ61841501 in that dishwasher. According to your serial number, that revised vent will help prevent any leaking of water assuming that the dishwasher is leveled properly. Be sure that you shut off the circuit breaker for the dishwasher to disconnect electrical power before accessing internal components.

You can order that vent part MJZ61841501 from the Sears PartsDirect website.

I hope that this information helps. If you need more assistance, reply with additional details. Let us know how this turns out.
