Q:

I am getting an E:02 error code on a Kenmore 630.1390/91 dishwasher.

A:

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

The "E:02" error code implies the working relay error on the power module has failed. The power module working (primary) relay has failed and the safety (backup) relay is running dishwasher. I would first check all the connections on the power module before removing and replacing the power module. I added an image below showing the location of the power module and how to remove it.

The power module will need to be replaced per the tech sheet when "E:02" is displayed.

The power module is located under the dishwasher on the right side. See image below. The power module is part #700375 for Kenmore dishwasher model 630.1390 which can be ordered from Searspartsdirect.

NOTE: Disconnect the dishwasher from the power source before servicing.

Q:

Power outage, light comes on, garage door opener will not operate

A:

Unplug the garage door opener for 3 minutes and then plug it back in. This may reset the control so that it works properly.

Check to see if the door will operate from the wall push button if you were using the remotes to open the door.

Check the batteries in your remotes. Change them if necessary.

Check the safety sensors on the door to make sure that they are properly aligned.

The owner's manual has additional troubleshooting tips. Here is a link for that manual: Owner's Manual
