Question and Answers

Q:

what is errcode f 68

A:

I'm sorry that your having a problem with your Oasis washer. I have confidence that you can likely repair it yourself following the instructions I added in the images below.

The "F68" or "F1" fault code indicates the Pressure Signal is Out-of-Range. The can be caused by restricted or pinched pressure switch tube or a faulty machine/motor control board. You will need to check the pressure switch tube from where it connects to the machine/motor control board down to where it connects on the lower side of the tub. If the pressure switch tube is not pinched or restricted, replace the machine/motor control board. Note: Disconnect the power cord before servicing your washer. I added the instructions in the images below on how to access the pressure switch tube.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .

Q:

Should there always be about 6-8 inches of water in the bottom of my water softener?

A:

The water softener leaves water in the bottom of the salt tank to turn the salt to brine water for the next regeneration cycle. The normal depth of the water is around 2-2 1/2 inches. If you have 8 inches you should clean the nozzle/venturi.

The information for cleaning the nozzle/venturi is in the owner's manual. You can download, print, or view a copy of the owner's manual free at [www.managemylife.com].

I am sending you an image with instructions for cleaning the nozzle/venturi.

Q:

Installation Instructions for Replacing Microwave Door, Part #68, DE94-01646A

A:

I am sorry you are having a problem with your microwave. We usually do not have problems with doors on microwaves. I recommend having a service tech replace the door and diagnose the turn table motor. The reason is because the microwave should be checked for leakage around the door after the repair. If it was hot enough to melt the plastic, it might have warped the metal frame. If the frame is bent, the microwave may leak out of the door. If the door does not seal it is potentially lethal. You can have the microwave repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .

I have checked the warranty on your microwave and it had a 1 year warranty.

Thank you for using Manage my life.
