Our Kenmore gas stove is displaying the E3 F-1 error code. Model #66575024100 March-2003.

A:

The E3 F-1 error code indicates that the control board detects the wrong fuel type (gas or electric). The technical information on this error code is shown in the image below. You can follow the troubleshooting described in that chart. If the control board is bad, you can order a replacement board from the Sears PartsDirect website. The part number for the control board is 8523666.

If you install that control board yourself, be sure that you unplug the range before accessing internal components. You can access the control board by removing the upper back panel.

Kenmore gas range oven igniter replacement installation issue

I apologize for the confusion regarding that igniter. The igniter part 8054129 is for the broil burner and will not fit the bake burner. I recommend that you return that part. The replacement bake igniter has been revised and it only comes as a kit assembly with a new bake burner. That assembly is part 8190618. You will need to replace the bake burner with that new bake igniter attached to it all at once.
