Question and Answers

Q:

Kenmore elite model 665-13963k010

A:

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

Using too much detergent or using the wrong type of detergent can cause over sudsing and cause the dishwasher to start beeping and display oversuds and then float. Wait for the suds to disappear and then check to see if the safety float located in the front right corner will move up and down freely. If the float moves freely, shut the door and press "Cancel/Drain" and allow the dishwasher to complete the drain cycle. After it pumps the water out, start 1 hour wash cycle and allow it to run for a 5-10 minutes and then press "Cancel" and let it drain and your dishwasher will likely operate normally again unless too much detergent or the wrong type is used.

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.

Q:

Rack keeps falling 66513963K010 Kenmore Elite Undercounter dishwasher

A:

I haven't heard of frequent failures of that rack adjuster. I know that many people have trouble installing that part correctly. Here is a link for a previous answer that shows how to install that part in case you need it: http://www.managemylife.com/mmh/questions/358498-kenmore-elite-dishwasher-model-66513943k014-adjust-top-rack-height

Q:

Dishwasher control panel problems

A:

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

No; the 3 hr delay light and the cancel buttons are not supposed to remain lit unless it is programmed for a delay start or when "Cancel" is pushed and then the 4 hr and/or cancel lights should turn off once the dishwasher has completed the cycle. Based on your symptom it sounds like the User Interface is shorted. I strongly recommend calling a service technician to properly diagnose and repair your dishwasher.

You can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .
