Question and Answers

Q:

When does oven cooling fan does not run.

A:

Thank you for your question.

I can understand when you are not a where if your range has certain options as stated in the owner's manual.

As you have noticed the diagram say's that your may not have this option fan as well as only one of the two oven lights.

  • If would not be concerned and I think your oven is working exactly as designed.

Thank you for using Manage My Life.

Q:

blower motor gmp100-3 rev b

A:

Hello Walter. I looked up that part on the factory website. It shows that you model needs motor B1340021S. That appears to be a different motor from the B1340021 that is listed on our Sears PartsDirect website. That will likely fix your wiring problem. I apologize for the problem with that motor.

You asked for the error codes and the wiring diagram. I posted those images below.  If you are viewing this answer on the Sears PartsDirect website then you may need to visit this page on the Manage My Life website to view the images: blower motor gmp100-3 rev b

A:

You could have a problem with the burner switch or the element itself. Without the model number for your range, it is difficult to offer more specific troubleshooting help. I recommend that you reply with the full model number of your range if you want to fix this problem yourself. The model number on many of the Kenmore electric ranges is on the base in front of the right or left front leveling leg (see image below).
