I have Kenmore water softener Model #625383060

A:

Thank you for your question on the water softener recharging so often.

If you unplug and plug the softener back in it will regenerate right away.

But it should not have gone into regeneration that next 2am.

It sounds like the control panel is misreading flow sensor that counts the gallon usage.

I would suggest reprogramming the control like you have set it up for the first time.

If that does not help then I would suggest replacing the face control.

The control board determines the length of the brine fill cycle. You did not indicate whether the water is soft. If the water is soft then the control may be working properly.

 

If the water is not soft, then I recommend that you use the service technician information starting on page 34 of your owner's manual  to check the components. You can also visit the KenmoreWater.com to view animations of the water softener. You may need to clean the venturi and other components. You can call the Kenmore Water Helpline at 1-800-426-9345.
