I recommend that you cycle the water cut-off valve to see if that clears out a clog that can sometimes develop in the valve body.

If that does not help, shut off the water supply cut-off valve and remove the water line from the back of the refrigerator. Place the water line in a bucket and briefly turn on the water supply to check for proper water pressure and flow from the end of the water line.

If the water is flowing okay and has good pressure, I recommend that you let it run for a while to flush out any obstructions that could be in the valve or the water supply.

Check the water line connection on the back of the refrigerator for an obstruction.

Reconnect the water line and open the water supply cut-off valve.

Check the water filter in the refrigerator to make sure that it properly inserted. The water system will not work properly without the filter in place and working. If you have the bypass plug, you can insert that in the filter housing and then see if you get proper water flow. The bypass plug must be in place when the filter is removed. A clogged filter could be causing your problem.

If you still have problems after following these tips, you may need to have the refrigerator serviced by a technician. Here is a link for the Sears Service website: Sears Home Services .
