instructions replacing icemaker

Thank you for your question.

I will be able to help you with replacing the ice maker in the refrigerator. First, unplug the refrigerator from the wall. Then remove the freezer drawer. The instructions for removing the drawer are in the image below. Once the drawer is out remove the pull our shelf. You now have access to the ice maker. There should be one screw on bottom that has to removed. Then two on the top that need to be loosened. The two on the top can be difficult to see but they are there. Once they are out the ice maker should be loose. Just disconnect the wires and it is out. Make sure the new ice maker looks the same where it mounts and has the same wire connector. If the connector is different, you can remove the harness from the old ice maker and use it. Then install the ice maker in the reverse order. Make sure the fill tube it the fill cup on the back of the ice maker. After the ice maker is in restore the power and wait for it to make the first batch of cubes. You will want to throw out the first batch ice. Then you are done.
