Question and Answers

Q:

locate and install defroster timer kenmore refrigerator model 59652673200

A:

Thank you for your question.

I am sorry you are having a problem with the refrigerator. The defrost control is located by the temperature controls. First, unplug the refrigerator and remove everything on the top self in the refrigerator. Then remove the cover over the control inside the refrigerator on the back wall. You will have to use your personal observation on how to remove the cover. The service manual does not go into detail of how the cover comes off. Once the cover is removed you should see the defrost control. Just disconnect the wires and remove the control. then reverse the steps to install the control. I am sorry I cannot provide better instructions how to replace the control.

Please let me know if you need further assistance.

To reset the Filter Status Indicator Light, press and hold both the LOCK/UNLOCK and WATER buttons for 4 seconds or until the light resets. The indicator light will flash 3 times when the function has successfully reset.
