Question and Answers

Q:

Why would my Kenmore model 58715252402 diswasher not end the wash cycle and switch to drain?

A:

Several things could cause your dishwasher to not go into the drain cycle. If the control stays in the first wash cycle the control board is probably bad. If the control lights indicate it is going through the cycles properly but the water doesn’t pump out the pump may be stopped up or have a bad motor. There is also a possibility you could have a wire to the pump broken or disconnected.

I recommend you get a technician to diagnose and repair the dishwasher.

Q:

Why does my Kenmore dishwasher model 58715252402 fill with washer and then stop and flash 2 green lights?

A:

If all of the option lights flash, this would indicate a power failure. If you are able to press the START/CANCEL button and restart the cycle, this would indicate that you likely have a voltage supply problem to the dishwasher. I recommend calling a service technician to diagnose and repair this type of problem.

A console or control problem could also cause the dishwasher to stop with these lights flashing. I recommend calling a service technician to diagnose and fix this type of problem as well.
