580.752640 power washer problems 580.752640

Hello, glad to help.  Thank You for choosing Sears We, at Sears, value your service.
I am sorry and do understand your frustration when there is a problem with the pressure washer not running as it should.
Glad to help out.  I’m looking at your Craftsman Power washer model number 580.752640.   I am also looking at your original engine, a Briggs and Stratton with a model number of 121012-0122-B8.
Thank you for your question on the pressure washer shutting down after a few minutes usage and then will take several minutes to restart the engine.

If it does then we have a carburetor fuel starving problem and you may want to clean the carburetor.

If it does not restart right away with the spray starter fluid then it may be a thermal problem with the electronic ignition module.

I see also that the starter is being very hard to pull.  You may want to think about getting a new rewind starter.   The rewind starter is a full starter ready to put on and ready to go.

Thank you for your understanding in this matter and I hope we can help you with your future questions and repairs.  Thank you for choosing Sears and using our
