A:

I see that Marc posted a link in the above response for the page on the Remington website that has the Owner's Manual links. That should help you find the manual for the Remington Model 66 rifle.

Q:

my ignitor has 66 omhs instead of 40 omhs is this a problem

A:

Thank you for your question.

I can understand wanting the information on the igniter.

Yes, I would change the igniter if the ohms are that far off. It needs to be real close to 40 ohms or it will not get hot enough satisfy the sensor and open the gas valves.

I hope this will help.

Thank you for using Manage My Life.

Q:

I have a Health Rider Soft Strider EX, model 831.297871. On the ground wire item 66 on the parts list, where do both ends attach?

A:

The purpose of ground wire item 66 is to ground the axle of the rear roller. The rear roller of these treadmills have a graphite plate inside that grounds to the axle.

As the belt turns it builds up static electricity. This static electricity is conducted through the rear roller and is grounded by this wire. This prevents the user from receiving an electrical shock when stepping off the treadmill.

One end of the wire is attached to the frame with a screw. The other end of the wire attaches to a small arm that rides on the axle of the rear roller. The way the arm is attached varies from treadmill to treadmill and we don't have an image to show you.
