Q:

Changing nat. gas to lp

A:

We should be able to help you with the location of those orifices but we need the model number of your range in order to see the technical information for that appliance. Reply with that model number and we will assist you as quickly as possible.

NOTE: That LP conversion should be completed by a qualified installer.

Hello Gary. I reviewed the instructions on that LP conversion. Those instructions for tightening down the orifice hood on that bake burner are shown in the image below. That orifice hood does not need to be replaced. It just needs to be tightened down. I added some more detail in that image below. That should help the plumber adjust that orifice hood on the oven burner. If you need more help, let us know.

Q:

how to convert from nat to propane oven?

A:

NOTE: This LP conversion should be completed by a qualified installer.

You should have had the LP conversion kit instructions that are shown in the 4 pages below with those stove top orifices. The installer will need to follow all of the instructions shown in those pages. If that pressure regulator was not yet converted to LP, then that task will need to be completed. The oven orifice hoods (spuds) will need to be carefully tightened down to the LP positions. There are some adjustments that need to be made to operate the range properly on LP gas. This information may help your installer complete that conversion. If you need more assistance, reply with additional details.

You can contact your local gas supplier for a qualified installer if you do not already have one. You can also visit this website for a pre-screened service provider that may be able to complete that conversion in your area: ServiceLive.com .

Hello Tim. The choke that you need is included with the LP conversion kit. That kit should include the 4 LP orifices and the choke. I could not find that choke sold separately. If it is missing, then you will need to order a new LP conversion kit (part 5789A602-60). Here is a direct link for that part: LP Conversion Kit for Maytag Gemini Range Model MGR6751BDS . I hope that this additional information helps. If you need more assistance, let us know.
