Question and Answers

Q:

spark plug size

A:

Thank you for your question.

I have checked the model number you have submitted. The spark plug for your snow blower is a Champion number RCJ8Y and should be gapped to .030. I have provided you with an image out of the manual showing this information.

Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Thank you for using Manage my life.

Q:

I have a model 536-885211 snowblower. The replacement auger number 327072MA does not fit. How can I make it fit?

A:

I am assuming you have the auger installed in the auger housing. Mark the places the auger is dragging on the housing. Check the auger housing for bent spots causing the rubbing. You might need to pound the housing out to correct the rubbing.

This auger should work without modification. There is no modification necessary to install this part in your snowthrower. If the new auger simply will not work, reorder the auger.

Q:

What size spark plug socket do I need to change my spark plug?

A:

Thank you for your question.

The spark plug in your snow thrower should be a CJ8Y. To remove the plug you need to use a 5/8 socket or a 5/8 spark plug wrench. Please let me know if you need further assistance.
