Question and Answers

Q:

How to replace part number 418 2817 on opener Model 13953615SR? Please tell me steps. Thanks

A:

Unplug the garage door opener from the power. Loosen the chain at the trolley and remove it from the sprocket on the opener.

Remove the outer cover from the motor unit of the opener.

Remove the 3 screws that hold the sprocket and gear assembly to the top of the motor unit and lift the assembly out the top.

Remove the clip and the gear that drives the limit switch. Note the position of the door and of the limit switch. be sure they are in the same approximate positions when you reassemble.

Remove the screws that hold the motor to the motor unit housing and remove the motor unit. Mark the wires as you remove them so you can put them back as they were.

Drive the roll pin out of the motor shaft and slide the worm gear off the shaft.

Q:

what is error code F 02 mean

A:

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

The "F02" fault code displays when the drain time exceeds 8 minutes. This can happen if the drain pump filter is restricted or if there is too many suds due to the wrong type of detergent being uses or too much detergent being used.

I added an image below showing how to access the drain pump filter. NOTE: Be sure to have all the water removed from the tub before removing the drain pump filter. You will also need to disconnect the power cord from the power source before removing the front lower access panel.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .

Q:

I am installing a snow blade to lawn tractor. The muffler is in the way of the right bracket. The holes line up.

A:

It sounds like you might have the wrong snow blade for your tractor. The brackets should be made so they mount easily. Send another email with the model number of your tractor included and we will check to see if this is the correct snow blade for your tractor.

You can take the bracket to a welding shop and have it modified if that is easier for you.
