Question and Answers

Q:

How much will it cost me to have a new engine installed in my Tractor (20 H.P.) ?

A:

Thank you for your question.

I am sorry you are having a problem with the tractor. I have looked up the model number you have submitted. The replacement engine for the tractor is part number 331877-3036-G5 and can be ordered from our parts website. 331877-3036-G5. The cost of the engine is $ 768.15. I am sorry I cannot give you the cost for labor because the technician would have to give an estimate on that. You can call 1-800-469-4663 to schedule service.

Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Q:

Is there a highlimit control between the oven control board and sensor probe on a kenmore elite range model 790991234a and how can I get a wiring dia 7909912340A Kenmore Elite Electric range

A:

The resistance reading of 1091 ohms that you measured through the wire harness for the sensor probe is normal and correct. There is not a high limit thermostat in that sensor circuit. I recommend that you unplug the range and check the wire harness between the sensor probe and the electronic control board. Look for damage to the wire insulation in that harness. If you find no problems with the wire harness, then the electronic control board (part 316418750) will probably need to be replaced. Here is a repair guide that shows how to replace the electronic oven control board on a similar model of range: How to Replace an Electronic Oven Control Board. Your range will be slightly different than the one shown in that repair guide but the repair procedure is essentially the same.
