A:

Thank you for your question.

I am sorry you are having a problem with the engine on the tractor. The valves should be set to between 0.004-0.006. I posted an image below that has the instructions for adjusting the valves. Click on the image to enlarge the image.

I hope this is helpful. Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Q:

E2:P2

A:

I don't see the E2:P2 listed in the technical data for the console in the calibration mode. The console will display EP:2P to indicate that the internal test passed in the calibration mode. This may be what you observed. Since the display did not show EF:2F then the test passed if you did see the EP:2P. The only error code that I see for this treadmill is the E6 that will be displayed on power up if the self test failed during calibration. I provided all of the technical data that I have for this treadmill in the images below. Since you replaced the motor, I assume that you should be able to safely use this information to test and diagnose your motor problem. NOTE: This information is intended for technicians. Follow electrical safety procedures when using this data. Unplug the treadmill when accessing internal components. When you do need to plug the treadmill in for brief tests with internal components exposed, avoid making contact with exposed wires and contacts.

If you need more help, submit additional details and we will try to assist you further.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .

Q:

What does "E2" error code indicate?

A:

Without knowing the model number of your Kenmore range I will not be able to provide any specific information. Generally speaking the failure is likely a failed oven control board.

I recommend resubmitting your question with the model number and the fault code for model specific information.
