Question and Answers

Q:

Can you give me directions to hook up the 2 (same size) plastic fuel lines? It is an 18" Sears Chain saw model 358-356070.

A:

If you connect the fuel lines incorrectly, the saw should start and only run a short time. Reverse the fuel lines and they will be correct.

Q:

where doescheck valve on chain saw 358356070 Craftsman 3.0/18 in. sears craftsman gasoline chain saw

A:

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

I am not sure what you are asking. You said "where does check valve on chain saw 358356070 Craftsman 3.0/18 in. sears craftsman gasoline chain saw".  I do not know if you are asking what is the purpose of the check valve or if you are asking where it's located.

The purpose of the check valve is to allow the gas tank to vent. To locate the check valve, follow the fuel lines back from the carburetor and gas tank and you should be able to locate it. I added a link to Searspartsdirect where you can view the parts image of your Craftsman model 358.356070 chainsaw.

If you get to the point where you need to have a service technician fix this problem, you can carry the chainsaw into your nearest Sears Repair Center or Sears Store. Here is a link for the Sears Service website that has information on the nearest repair facilities in your area: Sears Home Services.
