Q:

my chainsaw #358341180 does not run at all.

A:

Thank you for your question.

I am sorry you are having a problem the chainsaw. When the brake handle is in the forward (on position ) the switch should be open. When the brake is off the switch is closed and provides power to the motor. We do not have the saw to look at but I would suspect the switch is activate by part number 17. I recommend unplugging the saw and removing the cover. Then work the brake on and off. There should be something that is close to the switch lever, which moves when you apply the brake. I am sorry I could not provide better information on the saw. For the most part, we do not repair electric lawn and garden equipment. They are usually replaced if under warranty.

Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Thank you for your question.

I will be happy to assist you. I looked up the screws that are used near the power cord. To remove these screws you will need an allen wrench. I am not sure what the size is but allen wrenches are sold in a set. You can click here to see the sets we offer. If you only plan on using them one time you do not need to buy the best set.

I hope this is helpful. Please let me know if you need further assistance.  Thank you for using Manage my life.Mark
